What is ceramic coating, and how does it work?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to your vehicle’s exterior that chemically bonds with the paint, creating a long-lasting layer of protection. It enhances gloss, repels water and dirt, and provides resistance against UV rays and chemical contaminants.
What is paint protection film (PPF)?
PPF is a clear, durable film applied to painted surfaces of your vehicle. It acts as a physical barrier against rock chips, scratches, road debris, and environmental contaminants while preserving the original paint.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Depending on the product and maintenance, ceramic coatings can last anywhere from 1 to 5+ years. We offer options tailored to your needs, including 1-year and multi-year coatings.
Can ceramic coating and PPF be applied together?
Yes! In fact, combining both offers the ultimate protection: PPF guards against physical damage, while ceramic coating adds hydrophobic properties and makes maintenance even easier.
Is ceramic coating scratch-proof?
No coating is completely scratch-proof, but ceramic coatings are scratch-resistant. They help reduce the risk of minor swirls and scratches during washing and daily use.
How long does it take to install PPF and ceramic coating?
Installation time varies by coverage and vehicle size. A full front PPF wrap typically takes 1–2 days, and a ceramic coating application can take another 1–2 days depending on preparation and curing.
Do I still need to wash my car after ceramic coating or PPF?
Yes, regular washing is still necessary. The benefit is that dirt and contaminants won't bond as easily, making cleaning much quicker and safer for the paint.
Will ceramic coating or PPF change the look of my paint?
Ceramic coating enhances gloss and depth, while PPF is nearly invisible when installed properly. We also offer matte PPF for a satin finish.
Can ceramic coating or PPF be removed?
Ceramic coating naturally wears off over time and can be polished off if needed. PPF is removable by a professional without damaging the underlying paint.
Is ceramic coating or PPF worth the investment?
Absolutely. Both options protect your vehicle’s value, reduce maintenance time, and keep your paint looking newer, longer. They are ideal for anyone who wants to preserve their vehicle’s appearance and resale value.
